Jerry Gretzinger is leaving Albany CBS affiliate WRGB to join SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, the Albany Times Union reports.
In his new role, Gretzinger will be the vice president for strategic communications and public relations. He has worked at WRGB since 2002, first as a reporter and then as a weekend anchor. He was promoted to the weekday evening anchor desk in 2007.
“As an experienced journalist who watched and reported on the college for years as it grew and flourished, I’m eager to share CNSE’s stories of multi-faceted, game-changing progress with the world,” Gretzinger said in a statement.
