Morning anchor Jennifer Antkowiak is leaving Pittsburgh CBS-owned station KDKA.
“She has done a great job for us not once, but twice, and we fully expected her to be with us longer,” said news director Anne Linaberger. “I know she loves her job — despite the early hours — and the camaraderie with her colleagues.”
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Antkowiak decided it was time for a change after dropping her son off for his freshman year of college.

Antkowiak started at KDKA in 1993 as an investigative reporter. Three years after being named an anchor, she left the station to start a multimedia company. She came back to KDKA in 2009.
