Jeff McShan is leaving Houston CBS affiliate KHOU for a position with the Harris County District Attorney’s office, Houston media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
McShan is a veteran Texas reporter who previously worked as a sports reporter for KTRK, the ABC O&O in Houston. According to McGuff, he made the transition from sports to news when he joined KHOU. During his time at the CBS affiliate, he received a regional Emmy Award for his reporting.
In his new role, he will be a public information officer for the District Attorney’s office.
