Minneapolis FOX owned station KMSP is debuting The Jason Show starting August 17 at 10:00 a.m.
It’s a one hour show featuring Jason Matheson covering everything from current events to whatever’s trending. It also promises “special appearances” by celebrities both local and national.
“Since I was a little kid, it has been a dream of mine to do this kind of show,” said Matheson, who came back to the station in February after working at WCCO. “A show that is fun, uplifting, and goofy, where the only mission is to make you laugh and help you start your day with a smile. To do this show with my supportive and talented FOX 9 family is the icing on the cake.”
“We’re thrilled to have Jason back at FOX 9, where he belongs; it’s a perfect fit,” said KMSP news director Marian Davey. “I’m excited for viewers to sit back and enjoy their cup of coffee with Jason, as he brings them through the trending topics of the day and fun celebrity interviews.”
