Jasmine Monroe will be joining Tallahassee ABC affiliate WTXL as a morning anchor.
“I’m excited to join an award-winning team, bright and early delivering the news that is fair and balanced!” said Monroe. “Although I don’t drink coffee, I do enjoy a beautiful sunrise.”
Monroe will anchor alongside Karah Bailey. She comes from WKYC in Cleveland where she was a morning show anchor and reporter.

She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the National Association of Black Journalists and Pittsburgh Black Media Federation.
