In Cincinnati, Swann Prepares for WXIX Debut

from El Paso debuts on WXIX-TV’s 10 p.m. news as Tricia Macke‘s co-anchor Sunday night. He’ll work Sunday-Friday for two weeks, then move to a Monday-Friday shift.

“We wanted to get him on with Tricia as much as possible, so he will be on Sunday through Friday the first two weeks,” explains Matt Miller, news director.

An El Paso native, Swann started as a news photographer at the Fox affiliate. He later was a bureau chief, before being promoted to morning co-anchor. He replaces Dan Carroll, who was let go before Thanksgiving. More…
