KARK, the Nexstar station in Little Rock, Ark., was off the air temporarily on Monday.
Falling ice knocked out the station’s signal, according to a story on the website.
Video shows melting ice falling from the television towers.
Engineers said a piece of ice damaged a portion of the transmission tower. Temporary repairs were made immediately in order to get the signal back. A permanent solution will be in place by the end of the week.
The area had an ice storm over the weekend.
KARK news director Austin Kellerman tweeted out photos of the ice chunks.
