Houston Reporter Returns to Work After Recovering From Covid-19

Houston broadcaster Bill Barajas is back at work after testing positive for Covid-19.

The KPRC reporter made the announcement about his diagnosis Sunday on his Facebook page.

Most of y’all don’t know but I recently tested positive for the coronavirus and have been in quarantine ever since.

I have now been retested and cleared to return to work!

I’m not quite sure where I contracted covid but I am thankful I only had mild symptoms and that my family, friends and co-workers are all ok!

For those that don’t believe the virus is real … it is. I now have firsthand experience and it’s not something I want anyone else to have to go through.

Barajas didn’t go into more detail about his symptoms or how he felt while sick.

According to blogger Mike McGuff, Barajas is one of a handful of media professionals in Houston who have come down with Covid-19, including KTRK’s general manager Wendy Granato and KTRK anchor Chauncy Glover.
