KTRK is hosting another one-hour virtual town hall to address racism and social justice. The ABC station in Houston hosted a similar event a couple of weeks ago.

The meeting will take place today, June 15 at 7 p.m. CT. It will be streaming on all ABC13’s platforms, including Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android and Roku.

Anchor Melaine Lawson will be hosting and moderating. The focus this time will be on interfaith religious leaders and how they are handling the recent crisis of race and inequality.

Panelists are:

Pastor Remus Wright, The Fountain of Praise
Co-Pastor Mia Wright, The Fountain of Praise
Bishop James W.E. Dixon II, The Community of Faith
Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, Galveston-Houston Archdiocese
Rabbi David Lyon, Congregation Beth Israel
Imam Tauqeer Shah, Islamic Society of Greater Houston
Rev. William Lawson, founding pastor, Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church

Viewers are able to write in questions during these virtual town halls that are popping up across the country as news stations work to address the issues plaguing the country.
