Happy Friday to those who celebrate! Here are the stories we didn’t get to this week.

In this edition, we have a 20 year old unsolved murder of a local tv reporter—and a Pittsburgh reporter who made his acting debut on an iconic crime series.

20 years ago, KRBC reporter Jennifer Servo (pictured) was sexually assaulted and killed in her apartment. The case remains unsolved. Click here for the story from the station.

WTAE reporter Sheldon Ingram made an appearance on NBC’s Law & Order crossover season premiere event, which aired Thursday. Click here to read more.

Suicide is the 12th leading cause of death in the United States, according to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The trend also touched the family of Maine reporter and anchor Sam Rogers. His brother, Jake, died by suicide in March of 2022. Click here for the story.

Former WRAL anchor David Crabtree has been named the new chief executive officer of PBS North Carolina, after serving as the interim CEO since April. Click here for more.

WTTG anchor Jeannette Reyes and her husband, Robert Burton who anchors for WJLA, were on The Jennifer Hudson Show talking about their viral TikToks using anchor voices to narrate their lives with a baby. They then played a game of This Just In, where Hudson invented a news story the two would have to report on the spot featuring Eyewitness: Jennifer Hudson. Click here to watch.
