Here’s the Roundup for the Week Ending October 20

In this week’s collection of stories from around the country, we start off with some serious news about a Memphis photojournalist who died after being hit by a drunk driver.

Longtime photojournalist and ABC24 visual storyteller Michael Morrison (pictured) has died at the age of 36. He is survived by his wife, Lindy, and their two daughters. Click here for the story.

The suspect in Morrison’s death, Jason Patterson, 25, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, public intoxication, leaving the scene of an accident involving death/injury, and financial responsibility. He was released on his own recognizance from the Shelby County Jail. Click here for the story.
