Here’s the Roundup for the Week Ending November 10

By Kevin Eck

Happy Friday to all who celebrate! In this week’s edition of stories we didn’t get to for one reason or another, a New York anchor celebrates 25 years while a Chicago anchor threatened, or promised, to streak down a city street if the Bears lost another game.

WLS morning anchor Val Warner won’t have to worry about overexposure or the meaning of streaking after vowing to do so down State Street in Chicago if the Bears didn’t win on Thursday night. They beat the Carolina Panthers 16-13.

On the Tuesday 6 a.m. show, Warner said “I‘m going to streak down State Street if the Bears lose.” She then let viewers know she wasn’t planning on going full birthday suit. “You dirty birds. You were thinking something that I didn’t say.” When a co-anchor replied, “I only know of one thing to streak in.” Warner said, “Well, you can streak in multiple things.”
