Baylor Long has been named news director for Hearst’s Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE.
Long is currently news director at Hearst station WVTM in Birmingham, Alabama. TribLive said Long joins the station on March 4.
He replaces Jim Parsons, who will retire later this month.

Long was Channel 4’s assistant news director from March 2017 to August 2021.
