Greenville, S.C. NBC affiliate WYFF has named two new anchors for one of its evening newscasts.

Newly hired anchors Sydney Shadrix and Aaron Baker will anchor at 5 p.m. They follow 4 p.m. anchors Gabrielle Komorowski and Jane Robelot. Carol Clarke and Nigel Robertson anchor the 6 p.m.

“WYFF News 4 has a long history of talented journalists who have become that trusted voice in the community,” said WYFF president and general manager John Humphries. “I know Sydney and Aaron will continue that tradition of excellence on our 5 p.m. newscast.”

The two will also report on local stories.

“Sydney and Aaron have been a great addition to our news team,” said news director Akili Franklin. “They are both experienced story tellers who are excited to be a part of WYFF 4 and cover news in this community.”

Before joining WYFF, Shadrix worked as an anchor and producer at KLTV in Tyler, Texas. Baker was an evening anchor at KYTX in Nacogdoches, Texas.
