Fox to Test News Highlight Show

Fox Television Stations is debuting a new show featuring the top 30 news stories of the day in 30 minutes.

The show, called Top 30, debuts on select Media General, Sinclair and Fox-owned stations for a four week summer run starting Monday, June 6.

“Everyone wants information, but quickly,” said Stephen Brown, evp of programming and development for Fox Television. “The millennial voice and text is what we expect now from bite-sized news sources we find online and on mobile. Quick, fun, smart and fresh. That’s ‘Top 30.’

Cynthia LuCiette, Hannah Cranston and Kevan Moezzi will anchor the show which will cover both national and international subjects.

LuCiette comes from Yahoo, Cranston is host and ep of YouTube show ThinkTank and is a regular contributor to The Young Turks and Styleogue. Moezzi is a comedian who has appeared on Last Comic Standing and Fox’s Laughs.
