NBC Fort Wayne anchor Krista Miller is leaving the Indiana station after three and a half years.
Miller is taking a job at KAKE-TV in Wichita, Kansas as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity, and I am thrilled to take the next step in my career,” Miller wrote in a social media post. “But that doesn’t mean it was an easy decision. I have been so privileged to work in northeast Indiana, where I’ve lived practically all my life. It’s home. It’s where my family is. It’s where my friends are. It’s everything I know.”

This was Miller’s first TV job out of college. She first landed a job with WOWO radio before moving over to the NBC affiliate, which was WISE at the time.
