Abigail Velez has joined Austin CBS affiliate KEYE as a morning reporter and mmj.
“Huge thanks to everyone that helped me get here— storytelling in the Capitol City is a huge honor and I can’t wait to get started,” Velez posted on social media.
Houston media blogger Mike McGuff first reported the news. Velez last worked at WNCT in Greenville, N.C., as a multimedia journalist since January 2023. She was also crowned Miss San Antonio USA in 2022.
