Dan “Danny” Ray Bishop has been arrested after being accused of stealing $32,000 from Fort Smith, Ark., CBS affiliate KFSM to support a gambling addiction.

The Southwest Times Record reports Bishop was arrested in early January on a felony warrant. He was the vp of technical support at KFSM.

Bishop, who had worked at the station since April 2012, “had a history of pawning items” between January and November 2013. Recently, he allegedly used his company credit card to buy 26 laptops and then sell them on Craigslist and keep the money from the sale. He is also accused of selling scrapped copper.

Bishop blamed the thefts on a divorce, a stressful work environment and his enjoyment of casinos, according to the report.

He told detectives he developed a gambling addiction and the money he obtained from the thefts was ultimately used for the casino and child support, the report states.

Bishop was released on a $10,000 bond the same day he was arrested.

Bishop faces a class B felony, punishable by five to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $15,000.
