Soon New Orleans Scott Walker (pictured right) and Wisconsin Scott Walker (pictured left) will have more in common than just a name. They’ll both be politicians.
Walker used to be the anchor at New Orleans NBC affiliate WDSU. He now owns his own PR/Social media firm and his former station reports he plans to run for a Jefferson Parish Council seat.
TVSpy reported as far back as 2012 that Walker was tired of being confused for then Governor Scott Walker so he just went with it for a night.
“Long Day. I’m beat. But back to governing the people of Wisconsin tomorrow!” Walker, the news anchor, posted on his Twitter account Tuesday night. “Go Pack!”
Grilled Brats & beer for everyone! Meet me at the Governor's mansion and we'll rock out to 80s hits all night.

Even President Donald Trump confused the two after the former Governor’s speech at the Republican National Convention.
