Fixture on Lancaster TV Passes Away

Wendall Woodbury, a longtime WGAL host and reporter, has passed away.

“He was probably the single most wonderful person I’ve ever known,” said friend and former WGAL colleague Bill Saylor. “He was just a kid, just a kid at heart, just a beautiful man.”

Wendall, 68, was best known for his humorous “Wendall’s World” segments on WGAL. He died Wednesday at Lancaster County Hospice after a month-long battle with lymphoma. More…
