Faran Foster has joined Lexington, Ky., ABC affiliate WTVQ as an evening co-anchor.
The news was posted on social media by WTVQ news director Miranda Combs.
“Couldn’t be prouder to introduce @FaranFosterTV as @ABC36News evening news anchor with @paxton!” wrote Combs. “She starts Wednesday at 6!”

For those not in the know, @paxton is evening anchor Paxton Boyd. Combs replaces Erica Bivens, who left TV to work in the PR industry.
Foster last worked with NEWSnet in Washington, D.C. She started her career at WSJV in South Bend, Indiana before working at KTSM in El Paso, Texas, WZZM in Grand Rapids, Mich., and International News Network in Washington, D.C.
