TEGNA has the most stations participating in a Facebook initiative where the social media outlet will partner with 50 broadcast stations, print and online media outlets and use Facebook Live to give viewers real-time updates on election night.

TEGNA’s KUSA in Denver, KING in Seattle, KARE in Minneapolis, KTVB in Boise, WCSH in Portland, Maine and WLTX in Columbia, S.C., will give exclusive updates on the elections in their state.

Fox-owned KSAZ in Phoenix is the only media outlet in Arizona participating.

KSAZ will produce a 15 minute segment looking at how voting is going in Arizona. Other participating stations will do the same for their respective states.

The KSAZ segment will be anchored by morning/noon anchor Troy Hayden and “FOX 10 News Now” Digital Journalist Samia Khan. The station will also have several reporters live in the field.

“We are very excited to be part of this Facebook initiative, and to have the opportunity to share Arizona’s election story with the rest of the nation,” said Doug Bannard, vp of News for KSAZ.

stations participating WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky is also participating.

“We have a lot to keep our eyes on in Kentucky beyond the presidential race,” said WKYT political editor Bill Bryant. “Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will be watching Senate trends nationwide to see if he retains his powerful position. Democrats are in a battle to keep control of the state house of representatives which is the only remaining legislative chamber in the South the party controls.”
