Evansville Anchor Leaves Station After 5 Years

Erin Meyer, is leaving the station after 5 years.

Her last day at WFIE in Evansville, Indiana is Monday.

The station posted a video clip of her on-air goodbye.

“This is Erin’s final newscast on 14 news. She’s decided to sleep past 1am,” said 14 News sunrise anchor, Dan Katz.

Meyer joined the Raycom-owned NBC affiliate from WCIU in Chicago where she was a producer.

During her goodbye she told viewers, Shaelie Clark, who is an MMJ at the station, will take her place starting Monday.
