ABC announced on Thursday that “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasslebeck will join “Good Morning America” as a contributor.

According to the news release, Hasslebeck, the politically conservative mother of three, will cover “hot-button family, lifestyle and child-rearing issues.”

“Elisabeth brings a very distinctive style and unique perspective that fits well with the broadcast,” said “GMA” executive producer Jim Murphy.

Hasselbeck’s first report will air on October 11th. It examines how parents should deal with kids who want to get a tattoo.
