Dominique Turner Leaving WLNE in Providence

By Kevin Eck

Dominique Turner is leaving WLNE , the ABC station in Providence, R.I.

Turner started working at the station as an assignment editor in 2020. She now works as an MMJ.

“From an itty-bitty assignment desk (who had never been in a newsroom until 2020) to on-air reporting, This job has meant so much to me over the last 2+ years—Through protests, a pandemic, fires, standoffs, murders you name it,” Turner wrote on Facebook. “Thank you, Southern New England, for allowing me into your homes and trusting me to tell your stories.”

In the post, Turner said she wouldn’t “be going too far.”
