WXYZ anchor and reporter Brian Abel is joining CNN Newsource after seven years at the Detroit ABC affiliate.
“The time has come Detroit,” he wrote on social media. “As for what’s next? Words can’t do justice the feeling of reaching what you’ve dreamt of for so long. @cnn, particularly in DC.. has been that dream that’s become reality, and I cannot wait to get started with Newsource.”
CNN said Abel will be based in Washington, D.C.
