Meteorologist Mike Nelson of Denver ABC affiliate KMGH donned a Santa hat and brought his two-year-old grandson, Liam, along for a holiday liveshot Friday at the Denver Zoo. ‘Zoo Lights’ is an annual event, and things were moving along with suitable cuteness as Nelson tried to get Liam to say anything other than one word answers. Enjoying the lights? Yes. Enjoying that pretzel? Yes.
And then Liam decided he did have something to say: “I tooted.” Nelson was apparently already aware of this, replying “yes, you did” and then noting Liam’s live moment would be preserved. “That’s a keeper for the family reel.”
