Deedee Sun will get to wake up a little later on weekends after being named weekend evening anchor at Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO.
She’s been working as a reporter and weekend morning anchor at the station since 2017.
“Grateful, humbled, and SO EXCITED to announce I’m the new weekend evening anchor @KIRO7Seattle!,” she announced on Twitter. “I started here 5 years ago, learning from the best in the biz ever since. Next chapter of the journey, catch me Sat & Sun in all the evening newscasts!”
