Dayton Anchor Leaves Station, Says Would Have ‘Loved to Be Able to Stay’

By Kevin Eck

Adam Rife has left Dayton NBC affiliate WDTN.

On social media, he said he’ll miss the community and “would’ve loved to be able to stay,” but didn’t say why he left or where he was going.

“I’m grateful for my teammates and the patience and grace they have shown me and I’m excited to see their skill and creativity flourish,” he said. “Thank you to all of you who hold us accountable, who make us better and who make this community stronger. You have my respect and admiration. My life was forever changed for the better by being here and I look forward to returning often.”
