By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

After six years at Dallas’s WFAA, reporter David Goins is gone.

“Hey there – after 6 amazing years – today marks my final day at WFAA,” Goins wrote on Twitter, announcing his departure from the station. “In truth- it’s been 11 months since many of us set foot in the actual building – a grief of sorts unto itself. But alas, we’ll do it one more time from the remote bureau!”

Goins joined WFAA in 2015, where he has done general assignment reporting for the station. He station after a decade in Little Rock, Ark., where he was a reporter and the host of a weekly political show called Capitol Views.

It’s unclear what the Texas native will be doing next.
