Fox 5 DC reporter Anjali Hemphill signed off for the last time over the weekend.
Hemphill has been a general assignment reporter for the station but decided to leave to move to New York with her husband.
“This made me tear up!!! So damn lucky to work with you all on Sunday’s and everyday at @fox5dc .. never felt so special THANK YOU @CoriC_FOX5DC @FitzFox5DC @garyfox5dc @ElizaBulley and the entire crew,” she wrote on Twitter.
The weekend crew put together a goodbye montage for Hemphill. Prior to joining the Fox station, he worked at the CBS station in Sacramento, Calif.
It is unclear if she will continue a career in news in the Big Apple.
