Cox Names Mike Dreaden to Corporate Role

Longtime news director Mike Dreaden will become vice president of news and marketing for Cox stations, replacing Marian Pittman, who was named executive vp of digital strategy and research for the company.

“Mike has a rich history of leading award-winning and successful news operations,” said Cox Media Group executive vp of television Jane Williams.

Dreaden has been news director at Cox-owned WSB in Atlanta, after working at WNBC in New York, WSVN in Miami and WHDH in Boston.
