News 12 Connecticut reporter Frank Recchia stepped in front of the camera to make a public plea.
His brother Peter Recchia went missing on Thursday, Oct. 3, and has not been seen or heard from since. Police in Connecticut decided to end the search, so Recchia is now asking for the community to help.
“Please know Peter that you’re loved, you’re treasured. Whatever you’re going through, we can go through it better together. We hope you’re home safely soon,” said Recchia.

He was last seen in Middletown, Conn. Frank has a medical history and has recently shown signs of dementia.
