Columbus investigative reporter Tom Sussi is leaving the business to invest in his private eye business.

“After 30 years of working in local TV news, I am signing off May 24 to pursue my private investigation business,” he said on Twitter.

Sussi owns and operates Tom Sussi Investigations. According to his website, Sussi is licensed and insured in Ohio.

“Immediately upon arriving in the Cap City in 2010, Sussi’s aggressive, in-your-face, entertaining reporting style, made him an instant hit both on television and social media. Undoubtedly, Sussi ranks among the most popular and recognizable media figures ever to work in Columbus,” his bio reads.

He signs off May 24.
