A Colorado couple will forever be able to re-live their engagement after their proposal was caught live on KMBC.
Brenda Washington was reporting from Kansas City International Airport yesterday morning on the high cost of eating healthy. In the background of her live shot, Josh Mullin can be seen standing with his girlfriend, fidgeting nervously. Seconds before the report goes to video, Mullin gets down on one knee as his girlfriend, Ashlee Baldwin, gapes at him (video above).
Washington’s photographer, Neeley Schmitz, alerted Washington to what was happening behind her, and as the report concluded she waved over the newly-engaged couple. “We’re digressing for a moment,” she said. “Did you just propose to her?”
The couple is planning a small wedding in early September.
