Channel 19 will try to out-Fox morning TV competition again by expanding the “Fox 19 Morning News” to 5 1/2 hours next month.

Meteorologist Frank Marzullo and a new co-anchor will host the 9-10 a.m. newscast designed for stay-at-home moms, says Bill Lanesey, WXIX-TV general manager.

Another meteorologist will be hired to help with forecasts from 4:30 to 9 a.m. Anchors Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have a limited presence at 9 a.m., Lanesey says. More…
