Cincinnati’s WKRC Adding Extra Hour of News

Channel 12 WKRC-TV is padding extra time into its morning and evening broadcasts, adding one hour of news each day.

The station will start newscasts at 4:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning in September, according to a news release. The afternoon newscast will take the place of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” the station said.

“We are very happy to expand our commitment to news at Local 12,” said News Director Elbert Tucker in the statement. More…
