Cheryl Scott has joined Chicago ABC owned station WLS as meteorologist.
Scott will work alongside current WLS meteorologists Jerry Taft, Tracy Butler, Mike Caplan and Phil Schwarz as a fill-in on various newscasts.
“I’m excited to join ABC 7 Eyewitness News and their respected and dedicated weather team,” said Scott. “I am truly thankful for the opportunity to continue my career in Chicago, a city I have come to know and love, and now call home!”

The news was first reported by Robert Feder. Scott started as the morning and evening weekend meteorologist at Chicago NBC owned station WMAQ in September 2011.
