Chelsey Hernandez, a traffic and entertainment reporter for KENS-5 in San Antonio, is moving across the state and joining KTRK, the ABC-owned station in Houston.
“I’m beyond excited to announce Houston will soon be my new home,” Hernandez wrote on Instagram. “I’ve prayed long and hard for an opportunity like this and I know it was all God’s timing.”
Hernandez has been with KENS for the last three years, joining from KAVU in Victoria, Texas.

“Although I’m sad to leave San Antonio, I’m so ready for this next chapter in my life,” she said.
