By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Filters can be fun. But for WLOS reporter Justin Hinton in Asheville, N.C., one Facebook filter accidentally turned his live weather hit into a comedy act.

Hinton was doing a Facebook Live during snow coverage and didn’t realize that the viewers were seeing him through a mask filter. Comments starting popping up on the page in reaction to the silly nature of his hit.

The Charlotte reporter didn’t have a clue it was happening until he read the comments.
