John Ahrens, a meteorologist at Charlotte ABC affiliate WSOC, will appear in court Monday on a charge of domestic assault.
Ahrens was arrested Saturday night, accused of throwing rocks at his estranged wife during a confrontation, reports the Charlotte Observer.
WSOC reported the arrest, and reported Ahrens “adamantly denied any role in the accusations made by his spouse.” The station made no further comment.
