Tim Bennett has been promoted to VP and station manager at CBS owned CW affiliate WUPA. He’ll also be the director of sales, southeast region for CBS Television Stations’ national spot sales office in Atlanta.
“During his 20-plus years in the Atlanta market, Tim has established great relationships with the advertising community and local business leaders,” said Peter Dunn, president of CBS Television. “We look forward to having him continue to do a great job of heading up our national sales efforts in Atlanta and also draw on his considerable experience in the market as he takes on the responsibility of leading one of the top CW affiliates in the country.”
Dunn also said the national spot sales office would “come under the same roof” as the WUPA employees.
Bennett has been the sales manager of the national spot sales office since November 2004. Before coming to CBS Owned Television Stations, Bennett worked as SVP and group sales manager for Petry Television in Atlanta.
