There’s no word where Johnson is heading.

You can read the email after the jump.

News Team: I wanted to let you know Carolyn Johnson has accepted a new opportunity to be an anchor at a TV station outside of the San Francisco market.

Carolyn has been with ABC7 News as an anchor and reporter since 1998.  As many of you know, Carolyn first came to KGO-TV as a Producer in the Programming Department before going to the Central Coast for her first on-air TV job.  In addition to anchoring the 4pm, 6pm and 11pm newscasts, Carolyn has done a terrific job with the Health and Sciences beat.  She has also been a wonderful ambassador for ABC7 at so many charitable events throughout the Bay Area.

We are so grateful to Carolyn for her dedication to ABC7 and we wish her all great things in the future.
Carolyn assures me she will let us know the details of her new position as soon as she is able.
I will let you know when we schedule the cake ceremony.

Thanks,

Tracey
