Candace Burns has been named permanent anchor at Richmond, Va. CBS affiliate WTVR.
Burns started at WTVR as a fill-in for Stephanie Rochon who was taking a medical leave of absence for cancer. Rochon died less than a year later.
Burns has worked at WJRT in Flint, Mich.m WLNS in Lansing and WBKB in Alpena, Mich.
