Caitrin Assaf has been named the 4 p.m. anchor for Little Rock, Arkansas, NBC affiliate KARK.

“It’s a huge honor, truly, not only from the newsroom, but just from viewers that they’ve been so supportive and trusting to let me continue to tell their stories and deliver the news,” Assaf told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

She also announced the move on social media, saying, “Arkansas, you’re stuck with me! I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be joining the KARK4News anchor team as your new 4:00 anchor! I have big shoes to fill, so thank you all for the outpouring of support. Check me out weekdays at 4 and let me know what you’d like to see!”

Assaf started working at KARK as a general assignment reporter in September 2020.
