Cablevision Asks FCC to Host Meeting with Fox

The president of the Cablevision Corporation has asked the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission to hold a meeting in his office with the top executive from News Corporation in an effort to find a last-minute solution that could solve the fee dispute that threatens to leave 3 million Cablevision subscribers unable to see the World Series, which begins Wednesday night.
