Bruce Gietzen signed off from Waco ABC affiliate KXXV last night.
Gietzen has worked in broadcasting for 32 years. He’s worked at KXXV since 2003.

“Now [I] will have a schedule that mirrors my wife’s,” Gietzen told Houston media blogger Mike McGuff.
“I’m excited about my next opportunity as Director of Communications for Waco ISD,” he wrote in his Facebook page. “I’ll still be sharing stories with you every day and planting the seeds for more special relationships.”
Gietzen has also worked at KTRK in Houston and the was part of the MLB Houston Astros and NBA Rockets broadcast team.
