Both GMs at Los Angeles NBC Owned Stations On Way Out

By Kevin Eck

Steve Carlston and Celia Chavez, the general managers of both NBC owned stations in Los Angeles, will be leaving their jobs after new leadership is named.

Carlston was named KNBC general manager in 2011 after working as vp and gm of KUTV in Salt Lake City. Chavez joined Telemundo 52 (KVEA) one year later.

There’s no word yet on who will replace the two or why they are heading out the door. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
