Earlier this year, meteorologist Pamela Gardner left WBZ in Boston, where she worked as the station’s weekend weather anchor.
This week, NBC 10 and NECN announced that she is joining the team in a weekday spot. Gardner will handle weekday weather for the noon, 4 and 5 p.m. newscasts.
“Thank you all for the kind messages and notes you have posted over the last several weeks. I appreciate all your posts! It has been a very hard secret to keep, but now I can share with you all that I have joined NBC10 Boston & NECN!” Gardner said in a Facebook post.

Her first day on air will be Thursday.
