Kerry Kavanaugh has been named weekend evening anchor at WFXT while Jason Law is joining the Boston Cox-owned station as weekend morning news anchor.
Law, who will co-anchor with Heather Hegedus, comes from WCPO in Cincinnati where he is an investigative reporter. He worked at WJXT in Jacksonville, Fla. before that.
Kavanaugh has been an investigative reporter at WFXT since January 2015. She came from Cox’s Atlanta station WSB where she had been a general assignment reporter.

News director Lee Rosenthal told TVSpy the two will start their new roles in April.
